I can say it was a pleasant surprise, I didn’t go “with a lot of faith”, but it went well. The food was tasty and the price was affordable. The service was a little confusing but the friendliness of the staff made up for it.

We were a table of 8 great location in Bishops square, we had tapas prawns, pork cheek, octopus salad and flakes of cod. All were presented very well staff were very friendly and attentive, menu had lots of choice wine excellent, the food could have been warmer!

Food was very nice and good quality. I would definitely recommend the food. Sizes and pricelevel was okay too. Service was depending a lot on the waiter. There where a lot of waiters but not everybody was in a mood to work. It took a long time to be able to order and each time we had to wave for somebody even in the very beginning. And it wasn’t that they were too busy. Just standing in the door chatting. But 2 of them where super nice and helpful. Maybe it would make sense to have dedicated waiters for the tables so that one feels responsible, and the idea to have the food in 2 course with time in between is nice. But please ask, if that is the preferred method or of Maybe one gets all the food in the beginning and the other has to wait (in case you don’t share everything)

We had the pleasure of visiting Restaurante Nó de Gosto with the whole family and it was a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcome. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a family meal.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also tasted excellent. Particularly noteworthy are the local specialties, which were prepared with a lot of love and care. We were thrilled with the wine selection, which went perfectly with the food.
The service was first class - attentive, friendly and professional. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed and was very patient with our children.
All in all, our visit to Restaurante Nó de Gosto was an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for an excellent meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

On 6/1/2024 at 9:26 pm, my wife and I went to the person in charge asking for dinner, the restaurant had several free tables, and we saw a table that had just been seated when we entered. Response from the lady in charge, they didn't serve because the kitchen closed at 9:30 pm, not even two people...
We ended up going to the pizzeria next door and had dinner on the terrace, at 9:45 pm we saw two more people arrive at the table who sat down when I asked for dinner.
With this description, everything is said and presented. Terrible service and attention to the customer, 3 minutes before closing the kitchen does not accept seating for a couple and the minute before they seat people and that table still receives 2 more people after a quarter of an hour.
It is regrettable that there are restaurants that receive customers and visitors in this unprofessional and unequal way.
