My friend's parents had a good meal here in March and recommended the restaurant, which is in the second row not far from the promenade. We had a great evening! The starter was mackerel. For the main course we had grilled tuna and spaghetti with prawns. I especially have to praise the tuna, which I've never had so good! The service was also very friendly and accommodating! One of the best restaurants we visited in Tavira

Unfriendly sevice without a smile, the lady was behaving as if she was doing us a favor. The tuna steak was good but the spaggheti was overcooked and a small portion for portuguese standards. We were forced to pay in cash although there was no sign to let us know in advance (as was the case in all other restaurants so far).

Stonbass was melt in the mouth. Fresh orange juice was so good! I sat inside as outside seating had been reserved so book ahead if that's what you'd like.
This seems to be a family run enterprise with friendly English speaking front of house. Decor is rustic and the food wholesome and extremely well cooked. Highlights for us were the goats cheese salad starter (stand out good), morro can lamb shank, tuna with harrisa and the sole, look at our plates.

Awesome experience - we had the goat cheese salad and the asparagus for starters (both excellent and quite large) we moved on with the sea bass and turbot and both were again great. Wine and dessert (chocolate pudding ) were also great.
The waiter was super kind and helped us with recommendation every step of the way always with a smile
overall we paid 63€ which seems just right - totally recommend the place
