I give the maximum rating because the food is good for a price that is still Portuguese, which means that here we do not take advantage of the tourist situation to display prices that we find in France! The dish of the day (copious and good), the glass of wine (20 cl, not 10!) plus the coffee for €9, that deserves 5 stars in terms of quality/price.
Visited this restaurant twice during our recent visit. This used to be more of a drinks venue but with the closure of the Cabanas Brasserie opposite they have taken the plunge and turned it into a restaurant / bar. Thank goodness they have. Wonderful cheap food, well cooked and presented. Huge portions. Can't wait until next year.
Frequented this snack bar the most out of all the places in cabanas. It's a family run snack bar and everyone works incredibly hard every day. Every day with a smile on their faces and a welcoming greeting every time you go in. It's a good mix of locals and tourists with the tourists seeming to be older who return year on year...
