I finally managed to reserve a table at O Tonel and went there with my family last night. I told them that I'm vegan, so they had a vegan starter which was actually very good (with avocado, beetroot, corn...). Then I had the vegan tagliatelle as main dish, which were OK, and (although I told them two days in advance) there was no vegan dessert (they told me that it didn't arrive that day. All in all, a good experience! The staff was friendly.
My family and I chose this restaurant for its offering of the true flavors of Portuguese cuisine and we really weren't disappointed until dessert time.
The dessert chosen by my husband and I was a lemon meringue tart...existing lemon, meringue from poorly cooked egg whites that left us with a gastrointestinal problem for 3 days.
We notified the restaurant and were told it was impossible as they had not received any other complaints.
Very disappointed...

Excellent food, excellent service, very attentive and fast, a nice and clean environment from today's perspective (including bathrooms) we took the picanha and the octopus, both very tender and perfectly cooked as were the side dishes, highly recommended.
The price is the flagship €47 with water and cover charge. Congratulations to all the staff
