An excellent choice, we ate fresh fish, unbeatable cod, and the desserts were homemade and very good. Friendly and kind waiter from the first moment, we went without a reservation and we were 12 people and he treated us very well. 100% recommended and if we return it is a safe visit.

Not sure what other reviewers received but my experience here was awful for a dinner service.
Service was ridiculously slow, I felt sorry for the poor waiter (or owner?) as he was running like a headless chicken all alone despite him being super friendly.
The food itself (Salmon and COD) were horrible, salty, overcooked and had a weird aftertaste. The vegetables were overboiled, soggy and tasteless, and the potatoes were just plain boiled, no seasoning what so ever. Looked like something straight out of a school lunch.
Can't really recommend this place, maybe the other items on the menu are better but I'd advise to stay clear of the above items if so.

We chose this restaurant for its seafood platter featured on Google. Unfortunately, we learned that we needed to reserve it a day in advance. We settled for grilled squid and mixed grilled fish instead. The food was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious that we had to order another round of grilled squid. The service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Another excellent dining experience in Algarve.
