At the restaurant the staff was not friendly, I assume because they are overwhelmed with the summer demand, which impacts the Cx. I would suggest changes, to make the staff happy with having customers with them. Rita is very professional and to the point. The waitress, which served most of the dishes and drinks, shows a very sloppy approach, dropping dishes to the table with a “clunk” sound - not gentle at all, and serving us the wine with drops over the table, dishes and even our personal effects. Simple things like a missing glass or spoon for serving took at least 5 minutes to arrive, with us having to insist on the request. I would suggest proper training, before throwing the person to the customer. And again, not friendly at all.
The order could not be taken in steps, so we could not order starters, and then with ease select main dishes. This created a lag in the ordering for us, and the food took approximately one hour to reach the table, by food, I mean the starters. I assume this will not work if you have children with you.
The food was to the point, good quality, depicting our traditional cuisine (with regular portions for the starters but smaller than anticipated portions for the main dishes). The food and peak summer season are perhaps the reason why the restaurant was full.
For the drinks, we were surprised that for the two listed sparkling wines, only the cheapest one was available. But we had that one and it worked well with the food.
As a summary, I would recommend this restaurant off peak, since I believe that if the staff is not overwhelmed, they will be able to come closer to the good Cx that the food already provides. And of course, allowing for the food to take less time to arrive, because 1h waiting is not ok.
Price wise, for 5 people we had 4 starters and 3 main dishes, which amounts to 20 euros per person, with water, 1 bottle of wine, and 1 juice for the child.

By chance we came across this place. How wonderful! Views of the Tavira river and different and delicious food. Very very friendly waiter, delicious beer and wine. Cool terrace at 3 pm. Attentive chef. Charming. The train passes over the bridge, the children are delighted, there are 8 of us and we are all delighted

The food was wonderful. The scallops are magnificent but the portion is extremely expensive. The staff is not friendly and puts the customer under pressure to choose the dish. Most customers were enjoying their holidays and that pressure is not pleasant.

The waiter very nice and helpful. The manager and the employee seem to have little desire to serve customers. When we only came to have a few beers, they sent us to the lower part despite having the entire upper part empty. With that attitude, I imagine it will continue to be empty in the future.

Quiet location, outside the most touristic places in the city. A friendly atmosphere and a good terrace. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Now what matters, the food, we opted for the snacks which were all well prepared. I don't usually like gizzards and it was without a doubt one of the best I've eaten in recent times. Coming back.

Good evening, tonight I went to this restaurant for dinner, I ordered picanha with fries, the fries came, but it was only 10 minutes later that the picanha came, I don't think it makes any sense to have the potatoes and they get cold and only then come to picanha, the food was good, but instead of ordering migas, I could exchange them for fries, but at the end of the bill they wanted to charge for the migas and charge for the fries separately and I could exchange them for the migas, the employees were friendly, but from what I think the owner was, she was a bit rude.

Delicious food, varied menu, terrace has a great view and Ambiente und a very reasonable price. We shared the tapas, were pleasantly full and paid 28 euros for 2 people: soup, meat, salads, fries, wine and coffee ☺️
It exceeded all expectations... Fantastic service, super attentive and helpful... The best food we ate in Tavira, everything was divine. Congratulations to everyone... Well done

The worst restaurant in Tavira. The food is poorly prepared, small portions and expensive. Service 0 constantly changes employees. Rude and rude manager. You hear screams when you're trying to have a family lunch. I watched an episode where the manager humiliated an employee in front of the other customers. Absolutely unacceptable because we are all human beings. Finally. I don't advise it.
