“Stayed very close by so it was our 'local' for a while. Friendly staff and customers. Great place to sit, relax and watch life go by even though it's not in the more touristy areas. We did those places too..but felt more at home here. Good background music. Didn't eat here but the menu looked good and cheap too. Will return next time we visit.“
“It's a nice and small bar. Though it's small it also uses the sidestreet which in my opinion is an awesome idea. The staff is totally friendly and knows how to make good drinks. The prices are fair. The shots and cocktails of the day are totally sick. You don't know what you get and the prices here are very very cheap. The barkeeper was fascinating; we ordered several shots of the day and always wanted something new and he delivered everytime a great new and unexpected shot. All the drinks were always amazing.I really can recommend a visit if you are in tavira. It certainly is worth a trip.“

“Really nice team and well-labelled menu. We had the vegan bruschetta and falafel which were both so fresh and had great flavours. Beyond what you would normally except from these simple options. It's also very affordable and a nice place to sit.“

“Went here one evening with my husband and 11 yo daughter after dinner on our last night. Wish we had found it sooner, we planned to sit on the chairs out the front on the street but the barman/owner (I'm not sure which) said there was additional seating in a courtyard through the bar. We sat in the courtyard, ordered our drinks, and had a wonderful conversation with the gentleman, on how he was from Austria and married a woman from Cabanas and a bit of his story, so nice to get to know the people that live and work there. He was so friendly. Pity we were leaving the next day else we would have gone back again. Had a lovely evening, so peaceful away from the crowds at the front of Cabanas.“
