Tasca do Zé André is a favorite spot in Tavira with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly and sympathetic staff. Known for its excellent tapas, including fantastic prosciutto, and refreshing Vinho Verde, the food is consistently delicious. The owner is attentive and caring, often teaching guests a few words of Portuguese. Highly recommended despite the road next to the outside seating.
