Broken air conditioning. We asked to go to the terrace which is lit by street lamps. After we sat down and waited for the menu to be delivered, bird droppings fell on the plate, which was black in color. When the menus came I caught a glimpse of something strange on the plate! We turned on the cell phone and it was indeed bird droppings. We asked to leave that place. Almost without seeing anything we ordered. After the food arrived, we turned on the cell phone light again to see what we were eating. Very weak. Horrible. Finally, the employees barely speak Portuguese. Experience to avoid.

Simply terrible, we went to dinner around 10:15 p.m. in Portuguese and they didn't let us sit down, since the closing says it is at 11:00 p.m., the next day we wanted to go to eat, the closing time on Google is at 3:30 p.m. We called at 2:20 p.m. and they told us that the kitchen was closed. A little shame. I will NEVER return

I was at Umi Sushi restaurant recently and my experience was absolutely horrible. The food was inedible, with a completely unacceptable flavor and texture. Furthermore, what scared me most was the presence of several huge cockroaches in the establishment. This is a clear compromise to the health of customers. I do not recommend it in any way and I hope that the competent authorities take the necessary measures.

Poor quality! Expensive for what it offers! Terrible service, the orders didn't come, we had to get up at least 3 times to ask about the orders. Food came with hair, three of the dishes we ordered had hair, we complained and they still laughed in our face, we wanted to talk to the owner and he was disrespectful and mocking. The lack of hygiene is notable. I also have a friend who had the unfortunate idea of going there for dinner and a cockroach found himself in the sangria!

The first time we visited, it was with a local family and the service and the food was fine. The family was ordering for us and we were getting all of the orders in a timely manner and appropriate portion sizes for a party of 7. It was a full house, so we were impressed on the first visit.
On our second visit, it was just us and our daughter who's visiting for the summer, unfortunately it did not go well at all. We reserved for 19:30 for a party of 5. Most orders were not delivered/honored and portion sizes were not appropriate for the party size.
We were seeing other tables with 2-4 people receiving large sushi mix platters (10-12 rolls - 4 pieces), while we waited 30-45 min and received 5-7 rolls (4 pieces) of mixed sushi.
We tried to get the Sushi Mix/Rodizio Sushi 3-4 times, to no avail. Though, the other tables adjacent to us with 2 people received those orders. We respectfully addressed this issue to the lady manager, but seemed overwhelmed with other customers who were not as respectful. We didn't get to leave until around 22:40.

I came here with my four children and celebrating 2 of there birthdays. I was asked to pay €120 which was shocking . I was here for 2 hours and received 2 waves of various Japanese food when we ordered about 5/6. Multiple people complained and at one point an employee/manager tried to put his hands on a woman with a baby in her arms. Horrible service, don’t come here and I will NEVER come back

Outside of the top location it doesn't matter. Sushi didn't taste fresh fresh. You only get half orders (apparently it's all you can eat, so order again). Not everything that was supposed to be warm was warm. The staff speaks very unclearly. I recommend giving this place a try. It is better to drive half an hour further to Armação de Pêra there you have the best sushi + it is cheaper and the location is also okay there. Umi sushi is definitely NOT recommended!!

A restaurant with an incredible terrace, with a good atmosphere (especially at night). The sushi is varied and tasty! There are sometimes items that are not delivered, most likely due to crowding, but it is a great restaurant! I've eaten at this establishment several times and that's why I recommend it!
