The daily menu was a steak which they have not asked me how I want to have it done. It came rare which is unusual for Porrugal but I was appreciating it. The meat was good, side dish rice and fries was ok. I was missing some veggies on a side or the soup they advertised on the daily menu. The soup never arrived, maybe they said that the language barrier was quite clear.

We stumbled into this place looking for a reasonably priced Portuguese cuisine restaurant for dinner on our first night in Tomar. And that's exactly what we found. Family run, the owner is the host, bartender, server and manager and he doesn't miss a beat. The food is outstanding from the couvre (olives, cheese and bread), to the wine (house red €6 for the bottle), to the excellent home made soup, to the entree (freshly made chips (fries) and perfectly cooked meats),...
Rustic corner relative to the city itself.Delicious food at a reasonable price.Wine served without counting the glass!Spectacular service from the boss.Small atmosphere and you accidentally hear other people's conversations.I advise.
