Our experience at Floresta was incredible. The service, the food, the wine- it was all very delicious and memorable. With 3 small children (ages 3. 6, 9) it can be difficult to find a spectacular meal which is also friendly for kids. This exceeded our expectations. The owner even took us back to see the kitchen, which my children loved. The chef & staff was all women, which my daughters and I loved. A special thanks to the owner, the chef, and their son DoDo who made this experience one we will never forget as a family. We highly recommend the Cochena and the Veal. It was outstanding. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you!

Excellent food and extremely hospitable service. We were looked after by ‘the boss’ of the restaurant and he couldn’t have been more helpful. And the chef is the best!

Hopped across the bridge from our hotel tonight. What a lovely, friendly, smart restaurant with friendly staff and great food. The three of us had a full 3 course fish meal with half a bottle of local green wine. The bill was €66. Unbelievable!!! They don’t take non Portuguese credit cards, so I offered to do the dishes, but I was persuaded to get cash out of the bank which is literally 10 yards away!!! Fantastic evening. We may be back tomorrow?

Had a very nice dinner here with my fiancé and her uncle. It was a very pleasant experience, and staff provided excellent customer service. Also, we ordered various plates including the salmon, steak (with ham and egg) and a daily special which were delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

DO NOT EAT HERE. Would not recommend! We had a large party of 15 and sat outside. The place is beautiful and food was outstanding. Fresh fish , meat cooked well, we throughly enjoyed our night until we received our bill. These sick people added over $200 to our bill, by falsifying numbers , changing 1's to 2's and so on. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. They will try to take advantage of tourists so WATCH OUT
