The food itself was very good, we ate a buffet with grilled meat and everything was great. A negative point that I think is very bad in terms of food waste was that there was leftover meat from our mixed grill and they didn't let us take it home, and we even said that we would pay whatever it took to take it, in conclusion the food was all gone.

On the other hand, the waitresses who barely speak Portuguese even though it is the national language… 3 x we repeated for a dish and as a result we received another… in addition we ordered another dish and 20 minutes later we were told that there are more! It's very good but just for the service we won't return again. Fortunately there was a nice lady who gave them a hand otherwise we would have spent 3 hours in the restaurant. Too bad…

I love this restaurant. Each time we visit Tomar, we go to eat there. We usually go there in the evening. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and comfortable. Often they have a small group which sets a romantic or festive atmosphere. That's wonderful. The service is very welcoming and friendly. The menu is complete and varied, we have always been satisfied with our ordered dishes. This year we tried the buffet which is offered at lunchtime and we do not regret it at all. Lots of choice, salad, fish, meats, vegetables, side dishes and desserts, everything was delicious and we ate more than we should ?.

I've been to the lodge several times and liked the space and the food was good. Good quality/price. Super friendly and accessible employees. I recommend the buffet for groups, we have live music and space to dance too.
