“We had lunch reservations and our food was served in a timely manner. Everything was excellent and all four of us we're happy with our service and food. I like it when I ask for water or salt or anything extra and it actually shows up, we didn't ask to ask for anything a second time. I ordered a Sangria pitcher and it was great. I drank it all by myself and I usually don't drink a lot of alcohol. LOL! At the end of the meal I got a coffee and it was brought out with extra steamed milk which was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant is very cute inside, and there is exterior seating. After eating we took a walk through the beautiful park across the street. It has a lot of water and was very tranquil with a beautiful water wheel in action.

Parking: Beware of street parking, we couldn't find the paid parking ticket machine. So, we thought there were no fees as I didn't see paid parking tickets in any other car windows. Unfortunately there was a ticket on our window from the police when we came back to our car it cost 30 Euros. For those who are driving rental cars if you are ticketed you can pay it at the police station in Tomar, otherwise it's attached to the license. Station pay department is only open until 4 and it seems no one is there on Friday. It turns out we just missed the parking lot, oops, and ended up parking elsewhere by mistake. We will be going to the restaurant again because it was a wonderful experience and understand where to park, so no fault but our own. The machine to pay parking wasn't so far away, I guess we just weren't looking hard enough. I was hungry ..“

Wine was superb, service great and chef entertained us after dinner at the piano! When in Tomar you must stop here.“

The menu is varied, it’s typically Portuguese food but with a slight up market twist. We had a really enjoyable evening. The only downside we’ve found is that it seems impossible to reach the restaurant on the phone and as it gets very busy making a booking is often vital to get a table. But would definitely recommend.“
