Pubs near Tomar

“This place is down a side street, and you would walk right past it if you didn't know it was there. We were so lucky to find it. It is a small pub with a pool table and outdoor area. The food is lovely. We had the Veal burger, fried steak, and Pica Pau. The steak was a little fatty for my liking, but it tasted gorgeous as it was covered in garlic butter. I would highly recommend the Pica Pau, a traditional Portuguese dish. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Tomar“

“We stopped here for a drink after a walk through town and decided to try a bit of food, they only have one waiter here and he doesn't really rush around but has much more of a " Gently does it , one customer at a time " approach to life. That is fine if you are not in a rush as we were but would drive you nuts if you were in a rush . Anyway when the food came it was blooming good and the mushroom empanadas were truly outstanding, fried calamari was delicious and probably the best fries in Tavira. As somebody else noted great people watching spot and we were delighted we stopped here . laid back and a great place“
