I have never encountered service as rude as what I experienced at your establishment. There was no indication of a wait-to-be-seated policy, nor were there any reserved signs on the outdoor tables we selected. When a waiter approached, instead of handling the situation with courtesy, we were abruptly informed that we should have waited to be seated and were then instructed to vacate the table and leave. I strongly suggest you improve your communication practices and reconsider your approach if you expect patrons to return.

We were served on the terrace, which is quite pleasant, overlooking the river.
Interesting food, I ate a steak with reasonable pepper sauce.
I also tried an interesting mushroom risotto.
High average price.

We had lunch reservations and our food was served in a timely manner. Everything was excellent and all four of us we're happy with our service and food. I like it when I ask for water or salt or anything extra and it actually shows up, we didn't ask to ask for anything a second time. I ordered a Sangria pitcher and it was great. I drank it all by myself and I usually don't drink a lot of alcohol. LOL! At the end of the meal I got a coffee and it was brought out with extra steamed milk which was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant is very cute inside, and there is exterior seating. After eating we took a walk through the beautiful park across the street. It has a lot of water and was very tranquil with a beautiful water wheel in action.

Parking: Beware of street parking, we couldn't find the paid parking ticket machine. So, we thought there were no fees as I didn't see paid parking tickets in any other car windows. Unfortunately there was a ticket on our window from the police when we came back to our car it cost 30 Euros. For those who are driving rental cars if you are ticketed you can pay it at the police station in Tomar, otherwise it's attached to the license. Station pay department is only open until 4 and it seems no one is there on Friday. It turns out we just missed the parking lot, oops, and ended up parking elsewhere by mistake. We will be going to the restaurant again because it was a wonderful experience and understand where to park, so no fault but our own. The machine to pay parking wasn't so far away, I guess we just weren't looking hard enough. I was hungry ..

A short stopover in Tomar to enjoy a visit to the Convento and castle had us seeking a nice place for dinner. Bingo! Found it! Wonderful steak dinner and the house red was a tourigas which hit the spot…friendly and very efficient service, well priced.

Simply amazing. It is our favorite place to eat in Tomar. Try it and you will become a fan just like us:) Facebook is showing the cuisine as Portuguese which is misleading. It's anything else but typical Portuguese. The menu is unique. Great quality meat and fish dishes cooked and presented in a very classy style. The chef and staff are an example of how to run a quality restaurant. Thank you for making evey visit a joy.
