Nothing to point out regarding the food, which was tasty, but everything to point out regarding the menu that was spoken by the employee. We trust that it wouldn't be too expensive as we didn't have access to any paper menu. We were very surprised that they charged €16 for a steak without a side dish. We ate half of cod and a portion of steak and paid around 50 euros, with around €10 being charged for side dishes. It all added up. Mashed potatoes, fries and the salad as they separated the lettuce from the tomato counted as two salads. We won't be back. If they continue like this they will lose customers because the restaurant is modest and the price charged would be justified for another type of restaurant.

This restaurant has fantastic cuisine when it comes to cod. In 2019, a Portuguese couple told me that the Carrão restaurant makes the best cod in Portugal. I have no doubt. I went now and I didn't know it was necessary to make a reservation but we were allowed to enter with 7 people. The price is not scary and is much lower than those charged in other restaurants.

For professional reasons I have been to this area a few times and I have been to this restaurant about 4 times, but I only now decided to write the review.If you like flaked cod seasoned with garlic, roasted potatoes and top quality olive oil... this is the place not to be missed.It's simply wonderful, if "washed down" with a good red (or white) from the region.At the end, there is always a slice of pineapple to help with digestion.The place is friendly, but the most important thing is the friendliness of the owners.The other side of the coin is that you have to call to book a table to make sure you can have lunch.

Restaurant specializing in roasted chipped cod and also veal steaks, these being practically the only options on the menu. I've had dinner a few times and I'm always very satisfied. I really like the service, it's always very calm and friendly. I love Cod and also the sliced desserts. The only negative point is the comfort of the room and tables, which for the most demanding people can make a difference.
