This restaurant has fantastic cuisine when it comes to cod. In 2019, a Portuguese couple told me that the Carrão restaurant makes the best cod in Portugal. I have no doubt. I went now and I didn't know it was necessary to make a reservation but we were allowed to enter with 7 people. The price is not scary and is much lower than those charged in other restaurants.
Everything very good, cod, sweet potatoes, salad (lettuce + tomato) and white wine too. Very popular, we had lunch very early because it was the only way to get a table without a reservation.
For professional reasons I have been to this area a few times and I have been to this restaurant about 4 times, but I only now decided to write the review.If you like flaked cod seasoned with garlic, roasted potatoes and top quality olive oil... this is the place not to be missed.It's simply wonderful, if "washed down" with a good red (or white) from the region.At the end, there is always a slice of pineapple to help with digestion.The place is friendly, but the...
