Think of a good place, with delicious food, generous portions, affordable prices and plenty of friendliness... Well, here at Tabernáculo do Rio it was all that we found and much more. We were guided by the vast positive comments published here, without knowing whether they would not be somewhat exaggerated. But believe me, everything corresponds to reality, it has been a long time since we were lucky enough to find a restaurant with everything that was offered here on different levels. We tried the Chicken Mourisca, The Cow with Witch Sauce and the Chicken in a Pot... Which one was the best, but personally I was a fan of the Chicken Mourisca, how delicious it was and what generous portions. We will definitely be back.

I had dinner there and it was as everyone describes it, very good. It tastes like grandma's food: amazing and with a feeling when you eat it! I recommend 10/10 the service was really appreciated, they speak some different languages. I paid 10.50 euros for the meal and a coke, would be 8.50 without the drink and for this quality and quantity it's Amazing!

It's very good. The cuisine is traditional and excellent. We took the vitelo, excellent. The decor and dishes are authentically traditional. The prices are more than reasonable. For 2 adults and one criança, 1 vitelo, 3 tango, 2 coffees and all for 20€
