Tuna was great. House wine, Rocim, was good. If you’re from the USA do not get the steak. Market Basket quality compared to Butcher Boy. Limpets were rubbery not soft like mussels. Service just ok

I don't recommend it, too expensive for the service. Poorly served. When paying, they charge an additional €1 to those who pay by ATM. Illegal practice and without any warning.

I ordered tuna seared, it came well done. Then I got a piece of seared tuna that even the waiter could not cut into due to excessive grizzle. I would not have fed it to my dog!!! They also sat us right next to the toilets because we didn’t “book”. Have a great vacation and avoid this restaurant at all costs!!!!

Example of where not to go. I don't advise it. Burnt meat, dried molotoff.

Too was excellent! Ambiance was a little off putting. Bright lights and white tables. Very modern. Not what unwound expect for an authentic Português restaurant in Ribiera Grande. Portions were generous and service was good. The grilled muscles and garlic bread were delicious as was the Grouper Massada and seafood rice. Lots of variety on the menus including fresh seafood and meats.

Very good restaurant. Portuguese home cooking. Varied dishes every day. Allows you to discover the typical dishes of Portugal as if you were with friends or at home. Correct prices. I highly recommend you.

Best cracas in the island! Excellent lapas! Amazing tuna steak. Fish Massada was also incredible. 30€ per person average with many appetizers and desserts. This place is great.

I went with my wife and daughter. We were greeted as if we were longtime customers, Mr. Silva made sure we felt at home. We had limpets and barnacles for starters, the barnacles were very fresh, of the day, the limpets very tasty. After the starters, we had grouper rice, a specialty of the house and I can understand why, the rice was divine!!! To accompany we drank a white wine from the region, Barrocas do mar, recommended by the guy who served us, so good! Finally we ordered bean pudding, chocolate pudding and molotov for dessert, as it couldn't be otherwise, they were divine, I didn't ask but I'm sure they were homemade. Note the pride in the restaurant, the fish showcase was impeccable, the aquarium as well and the highly helpful and extremely friendly staff. What an experience! Whenever you come to São Miguel, O Silva will be a mandatory stop. Lots of love to all the staff, thank you for this amazing experience!! (Sorry for the lack of photos, the experience was such that I only remembered to take pictures at the beginning)
