Supposed to be open mic night, what a laugh the “resident” guy, I think it was Zitty or something like that! Wouldn’t let anyone near”his” mic,even pushed one guy who had a much better voice to be honest, completely out of the way! More like a is everyone watching me night! Over heard him telling one guy to turn down, turn down. We couldn’t hear him just the “host”. There was an awesome bass player, really knew his stuff, the host kept standing right in front of him blocking him from view! Really guys you need to sort this out, we won’t be back! On a positive note waiting on staff were excellent and coffee was lovely! We will call in for coffee and cake!

We stopped here for a drink after a walk through town and decided to try a bit of food, they only have one waiter here and he doesn't really rush around but has much more of a " Gently does it , one customer at a time " approach to life. That is fine if you are not in a rush as we were but would drive you nuts if you were in a rush . Anyway when the food came it was blooming good and the mushroom empanadas were truly outstanding, fried calamari was delicious and probably the best fries in Tavira. As somebody else noted great people watching spot and we were delighted we stopped here . laid back and a great place

We came in here a few times during our holiday and was always a lovely experience. Staff are very busy but always cheerful and polite and make it a nice place to visit. Drinks are fairly good value and the menu is very good and dishes are made to a really high quality. You can get a nice toastie for under 4 euros or some fancier tapas options which are all lovely. Definitely a place to try whether you want a good quality lunch with friends or just a quick cheap lunch with the kids. Somewhere we will always come back to every year.

Stopped here most nights for a red wine & esspresso ( or two ) , good friendly service at a very reasonable price , they do snack food but never tried it so cant comment. They have a music night ? on Tuesdays but was a bit to pretenious and pompus for our liking , loosen up a bit its not that serious. Closed on Wednesdays

Unfortunately the so called jam session is led by someone who is unfriendly to say it at it’s kindest… he hit my trumpet on purpose and when I told him that it is not a guitar but a trumpet that is held to the mouth and so was not appreciated he apologized but 5 minutes later hit it again but this time with… a beer bottle. Call me crazy but this guy is not deserving to jam with anyone. Just let him think he is a great musician (he is not) on his own.
