I've been to Tavira many times and this is my favourite restaurant by far. Today I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the pork in tawny port sauce, which was exquisite. Service is excellent and the ambiance relaxed and friendly. Everything was perfect until the accordion player showed up and subjected us to Hotel California on the accordion. Just wrong on so many levels. But the restaurant makes up for that blip.
Top class meals in this restaurant and reasonably priced. I was at this same restaurant earlier in the week and had Tuna Steak, equally as enjoyable.

In the heart of Tavira in a lovely square, a stones throw from the Roman bridge. Popped in for lunch based on reviews and certainly did not disappoint. The couvert was top quality, followed by fish which was beautifully cooked. No room for desert. Washed down with a decent, well priced bottle of wine. Great service. Highly recommended.
