We went back a second time and I remembered why there won't be a third. Terrible service, terrible attention and terrible treatment, so much so that we had to go and claim the menu, the dishes and a long etcetera since they had us in a corner completely forgotten. A lack of control, dishes that come out at the wrong time, some eat and others look at each other's faces and vice versa. Not the slightest detail to compensate for an hour and a half of waiting for a simple dish to prepare (fried choco) while the rest already go for coffee. Nothing recommended and if you are Spanish, even less so. The French, British or American tourist is treated wonderfully.

To escape... we sat down at lunch on a Saturday with the house not even half full, we were completely ignored by the waiter after several attempts to get our attention, and it later turned out that he was actually ignoring the customer. He gave priority to people who arrived after us, and after the support of the bar colleague who gave us the menu, and after trying again to call the waiter who preferred to continue ignoring.
DECISION: Get up and leave, not even at that moment when the entire room saw what had happened did they deign to speak. I went to the restaurant next door "fragateiro"... this one is 5 stars.

Next to the Trafaria riverside promenade is the restaurant "A Taberna". Pleasant and friendly in serving customers well, presenting a showcase featuring fresh fish and seafood. With a terrace with a privileged view of the mouth of the Tagus River where we can enjoy a good end of the afternoon in the company of a fruity wine from the list of good options on the available menu.

It was more than delicious! ??? All was great and the staff very friendly. The fish was very fresh and the vinho verde fantastic. Also the maracuja mousse. We rarely experience a committement in that way! Perfect!
