Excellent for having coffee by the sea.The service is very good, but there are some gaps to correct:Lunch: dish of the day (with soup, main course, dessert)As there was no longer soup, it was not served, as there was no longer dessert it was not served, as there was a cashier to receive, everything was paid for as if the soup and dessert had been served. This has a name or adjective, and it is not honesty or dishonesty, it is another name, there is clear and invoice... as that is not used much around here...Apart from these aspects it is worth it and everything is excellent.
Dietary restrictions: The establishment itself places restrictions on not serving the full meal due to lack of availability, but charges as if it had served the full meal. This applies to the dish of the day.

Definitely a beautiful place to watch the sunset with friends and or family and eat.Food was good. The service was slow because the kitchen is very small. The workers seemed pleasantly nice.It’s definitely a family atmosphere with an area for small children to play and seating throughout the outside either under trees or umbrellas. There is seating inside but it is limited.I am not from São Jorge or even the country but my wife is from Velas. She said it’s under new management and things are looking up.I truly enjoyed everything from the ambiance and yes the pork steaks with egg and French Fries. Full disclosure I was a bit hungry too.Update: The service is lacking a bit of a human touch if you will. My wife stood in front of the counter to order for approximately 10 minutes before she had to ask for help. It’s either poorly trained staff or something else. Either way this place caters to a lot of visitors and it would behoove them to treat the customers with a bit more kindness and acknowledgment at the very least.
