“We had simply the best experience here today!

We have never experienced such wonderfully authentic Indian food before - the flavours were on a different level.

It is so far removed from the commercial, stodgy “Indian” food we remember back in the UK - this is so very different - a true flavour of the Punjab - made with love and served by kind hearts.

There was a very warm welcome at the door, a thoughtful explanation of all the dishes ( including the Punjabi origins, the ingredients/spices, the recommended combinations, the wines etc ) and excellent service throughout the meal - it really was quite memorable.

The starters of the Onion Bhaji and Gol Gappa Chaat were truly outstanding and set our expectations for the mains. We were not disappointed! The layers of flavour in the Honey Cauliflower and Butter Chicken were amazing - all washed down with a few glasses of chilled Alentejo wine.

I recommend the pineapple-basil lemonade which was great.
For the dishes I was able to try the pork ramen (the presentation and taste were top notch), I have rarely been able to eat one this good.
The sushi/makis (fusion) were the best I've tried in Portugal (in the few Japanese restaurants I've been able to try), including the all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Calas da Rainha which didn't convince me.
The salmon bao was excellent (even if it's not strictly speaking a Japanese dish).”

“Let me start off by saying I was attended by Manu, who was an excellent waiter, super attentive, professional, a good communicator, and over-all helpful. He educated me on how to properly eat the course, and revealed good knowledge. As for the kitchen, the food (Butter Chicken + Rice + Garlic Naan) was absolutely delicious, good portions, and the drinks were at perfect temperature. The only thing that the restaurant could improve would be air conditioning. It was pretty hot in there. But overall, Manu and the kitchen seized the day and made it a great visit. Will definitely come over again.”

“We went there on the way to the Bacalhôa Buddha Eden Oriental Garden.We arrived a little late to eat, but they did not put any impediment on us, on the contrary they treated us like 10.The food was exquisite and very very cheap since my wife, my two children and I went.We ordered 2 cheeseburgers for the children that were very good, a soup of the day, a quiché and a bifana that each dish improved the previous one, 2 Cocacola and large water and two Sagres (beer) and the bill only for €18.Taking all this into account, the best thing was the treatment of the waitress who, despite being alone serving the customers and us, was super friendly and nice.Without a doubt, it is a highly recommended place to go to eat or even to have coffee and cakes.
