Excellent service, beautifully prepared food and calm atmosphere, an unexpectable deep Alentejo.
Parking: At ease, vast horizons.

Fast service, very friendly and helpful. The menu has many good options, but we highlight the Cachaço de Porto and Magret de Pato accompanied by Torre de Palma red wine. For dessert, the Creme Brûlée is a very good option.

Loved the whole experience. We arrived without a reservation and they didn’t raise an eyebrow! Very classy and well worth the money. Beautiful restoration in open countryside.

For vegetarians, our meal was mostly disappointing. We decided to have all three options on the menu: one mushroom rice (risotto), which was decent. Then two curries: one red curry with sweet potatoes, creme fraiche and herbs - and a green curry with vegetables. We got two dishes with two identical small portions of vegetables and the curry sauce. There were no sweet potatoes, herbs or creme fraiche - and the red "curry" was little more than a tomato soup. The green curry sauce was better, though basically a soup with no content. Added to this, the server that served wine dropped a rather large piece of wax from the wine bottle into the glass without noticing it (or offering to remove it). Overall an extremely overpriced and very disappointing experience at least for vegetarians.
Our reservation was on Monday evening at 8:45PM and there were 6 other couples in the restaurant when we were seated. It took a while for us to get the Torre de Palma white wine we ordered. We ordered a baked sheep cheese appetizer- it was excellent! My wife noticed someone at another table getting up to grab the bottle of wine they purchased to serve themselves- soon we noticed our glasses were empty. After our plates were cleared and our food came we got more wine. I ordered codfish soup which was good. My wife ordered braised pork cheeks - the best thing ordered! The pork was moist and delicious. The bean side dish it came with tasted like cassoulet! The cabbage side dish was delicious as well. And then our glasses were empty again! The meal would have been great but the service was terrible. We had more of the bottle of wine for dessert than with the rest of the meal - quite sad since this is a WINERY restaurant.
Incredible dining experience! The food and wine pairing was exceptional! The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. They have many gluten free dinner and breakfast options including gluten free bread. The veal loin was delicious and my favorite entree during our time in Portugal.
Great food, lovely staff - a relaxing place for Sunday lunch. Just needs more guests to create a buzzy atmosphere
