Located in Caldas da Rainha, in the village of Torre, this restaurant was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. The food was really good, I have never seen such large dorados. The portions were huge, but we were disappointed with the black pork and we found it a little too overcooked for our liking. The best black pork we have ever had was in Luso. You couldn’t get better service as they were warm and welcoming and prices reasonable.

We stopped here for breakfast a couple of days, as well as a "take away" dinner. We were blown away by the hospitality Miguel, Estrela, and their whole team showed us. We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in. The food is delicious, and the price is exceptional value. If we had stayed in Salir De Matos for another week they would have seen us every morning. We will definitely visit again on future trips.
