Anyone passing through Ílhavo has to go to Maradentro. We loved it....we tried some parts of the cod that we don't usually use and it was a pleasant surprise...the service is very good. Friendly people and always meet our needs.

Some unique dishes stand out from the void of common favourites. They still use Aluminium pots to prepare some dishes, for some reason I forget why I felt it important to mention this? They also serve one of the Gates acquisitions on tap, easily worked around by ordering local beer in a bottle. They close at 14:30 after lunch and are absolutely inflexible on the time and requests to modify menu items. Variations are not allowed but they will gladly charge extra for fries instead of rice.
