A very stressful dining experience. The menu was full of all kinds of yummyness but the restaurant was full of the most vile crowd of tourists I've seen in years. They all seemed to be in some big hurry to catch a ferry and tortured the wait staff throughout our entire meal. Believe me I'm not blaming this wonderful place for their clientele but we did not enjoy our meal.

We first didn‘t go to this place because of the bad reviews. As we went anyway, we totally don‘t understand the bad comments anymore. The Pizza was super nice (the small pizza is already enough for one person and costs 10 Euros), you can even add cheese in the pizza edges which is super fulling ;) the cheese garlic bread is also amazing!The service was very friendly and everything was served fast like nowhere before on our stay on the Azores ?

vegetarian options: risotto and pasta I think. We took the vegeratian pizza which had many many vegetables on it =)

We have mixed feelings about this place.Food was quite good, but the service disappointed.My advise would be to not listen to waiters recommendations and overselling.P.S.: Pizza was seriously good. Risotto was seriously bad :)

Cosy restaurant in the tiny square next to a beautiful church. The food was great, we eat drunk shrimps and mussels. The portion is good, everything was tasty, it has a good atmosphere. Recommend it.

Very, very good pizza, you can make your own for the same price as one on the menu which is nice. We only ate pizza so that is what I can comment on: The medium pizza is very large, you can easily share it with another person for dinner. The place is not that expensive especially when you see the large portions. I would recommend this place :)

I'm vegetarian and I always struggle to have a good meal in Azores but here I managed to find different options and they even prep something just for me one day. I ended up having dinner 4 days in a row here and each day I ate something delicious and different! Highly recommended. The staff is also very very nice :)

A good option in Velas.Quite an extensive menu for what you usually find on the island, with options for all tastes (including Vegetarian).We had the fish & seafood soup and the grilled catch of the day. Both were very good, cooked with fresh ingredients. Desserts were amazing, the best we had in São Jorge, so be sure to save some space.We didn't try the pizzas, but they are homemade and clearly a hit since so many people were ordering them.Price wise, it's slightly above the average, but still appropriate.Recommended.PS It's very close to the church, so don't get scared with the bells. We had a few jumps during our meal :)
