There are two vegan dishes and some vegetarian options. We took the grilled vegetables and “meatballs”. The two plates are enough for two people. The “meatballs” are homemade and not really meatballs, but we really liked them. The staff is amazingly friendly!

We loved the food. It is hard to get something plant based on these islands. The cook really does her best to provide for vegans and vegetarians. Everything is freshly made; the Fries we had toom some time because she had to cut the potatoes and fry twice. The taste was lovely! The opening hours are hard to come by. Google is not your friend. Best to go in as soon as they are open. So we had dinner at 1600. When we came by in the evening, it was closed, also the next day.

Went there at 11 and was told that main dishes are served from 12 pm. We asked if anything from the breakfast menu can be made vegan and answer was "no". The waiter was not friendly at all, seemed annoyed that we are even here. We went to Acor for lunch.

Lovely little restaurant. Has plenty of vegan options. Just make sure to inform them that you are vegan (the menu says vegetarian) and they will make it fully vegan. We went there twice when staying in Sao Jorge island. Loved the vegan meatballs made with chickpeas. The soy burger was also ok.
Very friendly owners. The cook came to check that all my needs are met.
Also, please be aware in case you have a ferry to catch that there is only one cook and she makes all meals from scratch. Thus, you have to wait a bit for your meal.

Excellent fresh food,cooked express by a very nice lady. We went 4 times when we were in Velas! I am vegetarian and coeliac and they provided tasty and homemade options!!Thank you so much! Don't miss it! Very honest prices too!

Unfortunately we did not taste the cuisine because after 50 minutes of waiting after ordering, I asked the waiter if the dishes were arriving soon because we had to take the ferry. The waiter gets annoyed and leaves. 2 minutes later he comes back to tell us that the two burgers will arrive in 10 minutes. 1 hour wait for two burgers is incredible. I then explain that we have to leave. My guy quickly puts us in range making us pay €4.50 for a bottle of sparkling water!

Everything was super good and super fresh! Service was very nice, smiling and welcoming. We had not ordered the dishes 24 hours prior and thus had a whole fish, which was cooked to perfection with grilled veggies. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious! Great fresh food. We saw the fish “live” beforehand. There are some dishes for at least 2 people that you have to order a day in advance. Service was very nice and helpful :)

Good place, we discovered it looking for where to have breakfast on the island and it went very well. We will return every day we are there because the food is delicious and they offer a very complete breakfast. The owner is very very kind, I adapt the breakfast to my lactose and gluten intolerance.
