We've been around 10 times at this restaurante because it is for us one of the best regarding portuguese cuisine. The menu has portuguese dishes, but made modern. You can be sure to find fresh and hand picked ingredients in well prepared dishes. I recommend Peixinhos da Horta as a good starter and the Octopus main dish (but any other is nice as well). The service have always been great and we were never disappointed.

Nice restaurant, but not perfect. Didn't have any sparkling wine (although the alternative 'house' varieties were quite nice) and my Chicken & Tagliatelle dinner was quite oily (good job I like olive oil.....it just didn't need to be so swamped in the stuff). Service from the young man who served us was very good.

Absolutely amazing food, wonderful service, and a perfect location down the hill from the castle. Can't wait to return on my next visit. Oh, and the Sangria was the best I have ever had!
