A truly hidden gem, just a few minutes drive from Lisboa. The “Lapas” were as delicious as one can only find in Madeira Island and the meat – “bochechas” and the “espetada” were really, really tasty. Amazing service by Carlos “o Espanhol”, great hospitality and great sense of humor – a real host of “À Roda do Tacho”.

Fantastic!!! What a good surprise, it was really good. Very good food, good wine. It was almost impossible to take photos. Super friendly service, I recommend trying it out

I especially liked the kebab, it was great, with fries and fried corn ? very good, then dessert was the Roda do Tacho ice cream, also very good ? all of very good quality and friendliness.

...not to say too much, I hate it when they present me with a pata negra straight from the fridge, stuck together, cold, with no flavor. This says it all.

Many flaws regarding the food, I immediately felt the urge to leave the table and look for another restaurant. The staff was attentive, expectations were high, because they even have an appealing page, blblabla. The only two employees were a little busy in the context of serving everyone, quickly and well, there was no one... hard work, acceptable but not enough!
Namely:
pata negra ham: Expensive for ZERO quality, cold, fresh from the fridge (it should have been at room temperature, losing its flavor...no "shine", dull appearance, salty, no pata negra!
Limpets, I don't like them, I had already tried them in Madeira, the ones served were STIFF, like rubber, ZERO flavor,
There are no goats!
The typical supposed kebab on a bay stick... raw meat in blood, the pork bisaro more or less... it was eaten!
Too much fat and no flavor, washed out, olives dipped in a pot of olive oil, how exaggerated! They were dripping!
Roscofe house wine, tastes too much like alcohol, without being full-bodied, like a good red wine should be! I'm grateful I wasn't charged!
The best is the fries!!
NONE intention of returning!
Excellent in everything, food and service! I have been a customer for many years and it has never disappointed. I highly recommend it!

Well prepared food! all the dishes chosen were an explosion of flavors on the palate (congratulations to the chef) good service! A good place to share a Sunday lunch with the family.

Reasonable food in acceptable portions....but they charge 18€!!!! for half a new whiskey is an outrage!!!!!!!!! There were three of us and we paid €54 just for the digestive..... I don't recommend it to anyone.
