Protected from the wind in the dunes. Sea view. Mussels very good. Pulpo with egg a bit dark, hence one star deducted.

Fast food for a bite to eat by the sea. Simple and effective dishes, fast service and good value for money.

Good time but too bad I really wanted pizza which was more of aflamekueche style and a menu in English, I would have preferred a menu in Portuguese with at worst English.
Otherwise the succulent mussels according to my daughter ?

Very attentive service but very very slow kitchen. You make 3 meals in one, lunch/snack/dinner. When you leave you have done 3 digestions. It took more than two hours to serve.

The cafe is very nice! It's a shame that some people don't have the slightest civility... so isn't it that two pilgrims were there, they spoke Spanish, and one of them decided to get her dressing done, at the breakfast table... her foot was a shame, and she decided to change her feet. dressings at the table... I hope that the right person does a very thorough cleaning!

The ambience and food was great, unfortunately the service is not ok. It's not cleared away, we were forgotten, we had to ask for the menu, we had to ask for dessert. Overall, not a great experience. 20 cents extra charge for every meal on the terrace.

The hamburger and tuna sandwich were very tasty. As well as the potatoes and salad to accompany it.

Nine kilometers into our Camino trek, we stumbled upon a welcome sight: Areia Cozinha na Praia. Exhausted but optimistic, we bellied up to the table.
The Sopa de Peixe e Camarao, a delectable hearty fish and shrimp stew, warmed my friends from the inside out. I savored the Creme de Ervilhas e Chourixo, a pea and chorizo cream soup, that was equally comforting.
It was the most high-falutin soup/meal and exactly what our weary legs craved. Refueled and spirits high, we were ready to tackle the next leg of our Camino adventure.

Good location, mediocre service. Food ok. Wine not good. Prices completely excessive. I wouldn't come back.

Excellent food, location and service. Good veggo options here, that's rare for the region.
Mushroom barley and veggie soup were great.
Definitely recommended.
Vegetarian options: Several tasty veg options here.
Not just bread and cheese or a lettuce and tomatoes salad.
