Cheryl and I went for lunch at this restaurant on the 17th of December 2023. We had: anchovies and cod fritters for starters and half a grilled chicken and a plate of grilled seafood. My cod fritters were both substantial and delicious. I must not have tried Cheryl's chicken because I was wrestling with grilled bream, two salmon steaks, a whole cuttlefish and a very large red prawn. This was all excellent. On a sunny day when it is 4 degrees back home and about 19 or so degrees in the shade, you could be in much worse places. The restaurant backs on to Olhao's famous market - designed by Gustave Eiffel and its situation is one of its great attractions - great for people watching or just observing the life of the Ria Formosa. We had some water and a bottle of decent red and the bill came to 72 Euros. Money well spent in my opinion.
