The francesinhas are really, really good. The spicy detail coming from the chorizo and not the sauce is a healthy detail. Homemade unsalted fries complement an excellent meal. On top of that, it's cheap, compared to "the specialty houses in Porto". The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning :( in the summer you sweat profusely inside :(

We happened upon this wonderful spot after a few days in Viana, while searching for the francesinha dish. Very generous portions here. Highly recommend the white sangria as it was the best we had of any restaurant in the town, very refreshing. The staff (owner/operators?) were extremely friendly and welcoming to all of their guests. The great food, excellent sangria, and comfortable atmosphere kept us visiting throughout our stay. Absolutely stop here!

Delicious food, one of the best francesinhas we have tried. Excellent service too, the guys who helped us were very friendly. €29 a spicy francesinha, a medium, two beers, a tonic water and a cheesecake. We will return without a doubt.
