The food in general is good value for money. I didn't really like the tandori chicken (too dry). The rest of the preparations are good and the bread is spectacular. The rice also seemed a bit simple in flavor to me.
The staff was very friendly. The place is simple and the bathrooms smell bad.

I was eating yesterday, July 30, at the Punjabi Indian restaurant in Viana. Although I am a big fan of Indian food, in many occasions and restaurants it doesn't sit too well with me. In this restaurant, in addition to being delicious, it felt wonderful to me. They are very reasonably priced and the place is nice. It is a few steps from the port in the old area of the city. I recommend it 100%.
The food was great and the service was great. They understood us even though it was late and were very friendly.

A little early for mist but Monty set us up with wonderful recommendations for dinner. We really enjoyed the service and the food was delicious. Thanks again Monty for the help. Ken Margaret and James. We enjoyed the vegetable curry and garlic naan with it Ken loved the fish biryani.

We were visiting Viana do Castelo with friends and searched this restaurant for lunch as it is very close to fort. Little late so it was not crowded and had lunch menu still open. The staff here is very friendly and food is delicious. All the vegetarian dishes we ordered were good. Portion size is good and lunch menu are reasonably priced.
