Nice little restaurant.
Locally nicely decorated and attention to detail.
Requests for a table for 13 people were taken care of immediately.
Food was beautifully presented and tasted good too.
Keep it up ?

This spot is well located just off the highway in a living area. So if you are passing through or visiting Viana go check it out. The owners are the friendliest people we’ve encountered in our trip to Portugal. The restaurant is really well thought of, but due to the kindness of the owners it really has a fun and laid back atmosphere. Their specialty is Polvo a Galega. Not an easy dish to prepare, but they excelled at it. We tried almost everything in the menu, mainly without meat. All of their creations were a pleasant surprise! The owner Joana cooks herself and prepares all the food (and deserts!). Oh yeah, the pizzas are to die for, also her creation. What can I say, we enjoyed ourselves and ate the best meal we could wish for. Obrigado!
PS: the food was so good that we didn’t even think to take pictures… oops (Sorry!). We went with the family (3 kids), they loved all the food and the desert in the end :-)
Vegetarian options: They can make the necessary adjustments to their dishes. Vegetarian food is not very popular in Portugal yet, maybe they’ll add some more options in the future! Now mainly the tapas are veggie.
Parking: Behind the restaurant there are about 10 parking spots.
Kid-friendliness: They adjust the menu if necessary.

I was here a week ago with a friend and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. This is a very special restaurant where you will experience a masterclass in hospitality, a welcome and service like no other. The wine selection (and knowledge of said selection) is world class. The food is phenomenally executed. A simple but effective menu. Dinis and Joanne have carved out a gem of a restaurant. Slightly out of the city centre but worth a detour. 10/10. Cannot wait to return.

This restaurant is a family run restaurant with authentic and home made great food and local wines. We (a family of 4) went there twice in the week we were on holiday in Viana do Castelo. We had fully home made pizza's and various tapas. The recommended wines gave the finishing touch. The enthusiasm by the owners about the food and the wines is contagious and gives a special touch, the very friendly treatment of the guests makes one feel at home.

If you eat in one place this is it! An amazing quality, and combination of dishes that takes good Portuguese foods and add a very unique preparation. On top of this pizzas for those hard to please. I have never enjoyed tapas style and Portuguese foods as much as I did here. Thank you Joanna et all for amazing food and service!

The environment is a perfect harmony between elegance and comfort, with decor that reflects good taste and attention to detail.
The service was exceptional from the beginning, offering suggestions that turned out to be real gems. The attention to detail and cordiality made all the difference in the experience.
Each dish looked like a work of art, both in presentation and flavor.
In addition to the food, the wine list was a pleasant surprise, with options for all tastes and prices. Dinis' recommendations were spot on, complementing the dishes in a sublime way.
I highly recommend it to any lover of good cuisine. This is, without a doubt, a place to return to again and again.

We had a great time here with lovely and very typical local wines and food that was prepared with love and attention. We had among other things 'ovos rotos' and nicely prepared porc with salt and lemon. Definitely a restaurant you should visit when in Viana do Castelo.

An incredible evening and meal. Very nice encounters, incredible tastes, flavors and perfect wines. We let ourselves be guided throughout the meal and it was truly perfect. A very tasty cheese and charcuterie platter and incredible black pork from Portugal. We will keep great memories of this visit to this restaurant and we recommend it to everyone. Two Canadian tourists under the spell of this evening.

We’ve spent a wonderful evening thanks to Joanna’s excellent cooking skills and her love for high quality products. She forms a great team with husband Dinis, who really made a difference thanks to his warm nature and his ambtition to serve us really nice local wines. We felt so welcome and we will remember this pleasant experience. Thank you, Dinis and Joanna!

Good friendliness, good quality, but I think the prices are exaggerated. Ex. Fine: €2.4 (?)
