We used to eat at this restaurant but now they charge around 10 euros for a 4 year old child. I think it's a lot and taking into account that in another competitive restaurant (Glamour) they only charge half the price for the all-you-can-eat menu from 5 years old onwards. They lose with this. The quality of the sushi has deteriorated significantly due to it being made by other people.

We visited this hidden gem many times during our very short stay in Viana. I don't understand how anyone can give this place less than a shining 5 star review: even just the amount and quality of food served for the price is enough to write home about! The staff ontop of that are like a cherry topping to a sundae. Sure, they may get unexpectedly busy, but this is Viana! Just take a breath and roll with the punches.
All you can eat is under €20/ person and includes all but one item on the menu! Gyoza and miso are steamed fresh and sushi is served in style. Be kind. And Enjoy!

A restaurant that for me once had the best sushi in Viana is losing all its qualities over time.. Quality of the sushi has been getting drastically worse.. the waiter was unfriendly, and without any concern for the customers.. It was good at the opening, but now it's just one more to not return! ?

We usually eat at sushi bars in Viana and today was the first time we decided to try Karuta. Although the service is 5 stars and the space is welcoming, not being prepared to receive customers is a bad point. They limit the number of sashimi per person (3x per product per person) and the sashimi pieces are really very small. We ordered salmon and tuna sashimi. We were not served tuna sashimi because there was no fish and, therefore, they could have compensated with salmon sashimi but it was denied. There are few restaurants that make this limitation. This only scares away customers! Note: The salmon and avocado nigiri has a miserable piece of avocado. We wanted to try this restaurant but it is an experience not to be repeated.
