A Reflection on the Experience at the Petinga Doce Establishment - Viana do Castelo
The establishment itself is in excellent condition, the bathroom could perhaps have a different type of cleaning, a cleaner floor, or toilet paper in place instead of on the floor, as I once found.
I would like to highlight that the staff are always respectful and friendly. In my opinion, they perform the tasks assigned to them well. The products are also always in good condition, and to date, I have never had any problems related to food quality, at least from what I have ordered.
However, the reason for this criticism is the behavior of the two gentlemen who appear to be the managers of Petinga Doce, located on Avenida, in Viana do Castelo. Unfortunately, they often display discontent while carrying out their duties. When they are the ones who serve customers, whether due to lack of employees or their unavailability, the impression is that they are doing the customer a great favor. The tone used is sometimes perceived as “rude”, and it is not the first time I have heard from other customers that “they are always grumpy”.
For this same reason, I have significantly reduced the frequency with which I visit the establishment.
I completely understand that working in the restaurant sector is extremely stressful. Serving dozens of customers, many of whom are demanding, is no easy task, and we all face days when it seems like nothing is in our favor. The only thing I ask for and try to raise awareness here is the way they provide customer service.
It is not my objective to devalue the work of these gentlemen, but rather to offer constructive criticism. I hope this opinion is received with the aim of improving the environment and service at the establishment.

Neglected and the crepe did not cost what they charged us, because it was shabby and expensive. We ordered toast and coffee, the shortest lady in chacha with a woman and a child, I understand the family of the business, and if it is not for the other taller girl nothing arrives. He told him that we already had coffee and he wasn't going to have toast. Solution, you pay everything, yes, cash as there is no POS that day. Obviously the toasts were left untouched on the table, so take advantage of it. The coffee is good and cheap, the price is I think Mlasuda, what I can't stand is being served as if they were throwing my plate of food on the table.

Although it wasn't full, I thought there would be too many tables inside that passing between them would certainly disturb customers. The employee was not the friendliest. Perhaps training to understand that there is a type of language for customers that will not be the same as what they speak with colleagues or friends. I'm not talking about a lack of education. Just be more careful when it comes to language, as it involves serving the public.The hot chocolate was far from being the best (as advertised). They still have a lot to improve but with a certain amount of care they will easily achieve it.
