The bar was just a standard bar with people watching football. You could really smell the smoke from people smoking outside though. The food was really nice and the service was great as well.
We went because it had vegetarian dishes...but there was only a hamburger and a vegetable fransesiña...for €8 per diner, don't expect anything special.
extremely nice service, that's what I give the two stars for. not sure how the ratings are so good overall. all 7 of us were stunlocked, honestly. we really wanted to try francesinha as is was praised a lot (especially the vegan one), but we were disappointed (even the omnis in our group that had the meat variant) to say the least. the vegan version was just 3 or 4 slices of cheese on top of some kind of burger bun (no toast as in the original) with a vegetable patty that was rather dry. the sauce was very watery and covered the fries that were soggy, but at least they were salted well. I think francesinha has the possibility to be good, it's just not good at this place. I am usually thankful for any kind of traditional meaty food being veganized, this was just a shame tho
Good price/quality ratio. We ate a francesinha and a burger on bread, which were freshly prepared dishes. Helpful employee.

Mi primera vez comiendo francesinha, estaba muy muy buena. Pedimos la vegana y estaba deliciosa, además con mucho queso vegano, que normalmente escatima. Personal muy atento y amable. Recomendamos mucho ir!
One option, apparently the vegan (or, alternatively, vegetarian) version of a Portuguese national dish. Very warm welcome by host! Big portion. Consider asking that only a moderate amount of the [vegan] cheese be used.
La Francesinha is the jewel of the house ??

Everything was closed, at 10:00 p.m., when we found this place. They welcomed us with open arms and offered us the best of the menu. The owners are very friendly, attentive and formal. Recommended.

Simply terrible, I wish we had not trusted the average score of more than 4 stars. It took almost 1 hour to serve us and when the dishes arrived they were terrible. The cod was frozen in the center and fried on the outside, the plate was full of oil, the potatoes were frozen and bad, honestly the only good thing is that we know where not to go back. The vegetarian francesinha that terrible people praise, I definitely recommend other places that have it in the area, much better and for a similar price.I can't judge if it's cheap or expensive, because with the quality they have, all you pay for is overpaying.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian francesinha is terribly bad.

No tenía muchas opciones, pero está muy bien de precio y la francesinha vegana vale la pena. Además, la dueña es muy agradable. Updated from previous review on 2024-02-14
Three stars for the effort, but the francesinha consists in a vegetable burger (with quinoa and peas) with vegan cheese, bolo do caco and a home made sauce. Not the best.
Very well attended, very friendly and good French.

Der Weg durch den Starkregen wurde mit einem sehr gut schmeckendem veganen Nationalgericht belohnt.
