We stopped by on our way to Santiago and I can tell that I have never had such an extraordinary service. The man who was working there was not only a plain waiter, but made an effort to make our stay in restaurant pleasant and joyful - he was a real host. The food was great, portions were big, we took pilgrim's offer for 13.90€ which includes small opener, soup, main meal, desert and coffee. The fact is that this restaurant will remain one of my biggest impressions of Portugal. ❤️

Ate there yesterday, we had the local menu of the day. It was fantastic, the host was a wonderful kind man. The little restaurant was full of locals, it had been recommended by Bernardino, (we were staying at his small hotel - Enjoy Viana - an outstanding place.) the food was great, again local, no hype, just good honest cooking and lots of it. Best food of the trip so far.

Old reheated and plain food with no taste.We entered by chance while touring the area.First and last time eating at this place.In addition, a man who was sitting at a nearby table emitted a very unpleasant smell, it made our stomach turn. They should not accept people in those conditions since they ruin the appetite of the other diners.

4th time here, always a great choice for great Iberica pork, good wine (wide range of style and price), and kind, quick service. Our “go to” dishes are the Preso grill and the Iberica salad with figs and cheese. The sandwiches look really good, but we haven’t tried them. They do have a small vegan menu…though any poor vegan should sit with their back to the row of aged, smoked pork legs hanging behind the counter…. :)

Excellent value for money! Waitress/waiters are friendly and attentive. They speak French, English and Spanish too. Amazing place to have lunch or dinner with friends and family. Delicious Iberico meat !!
