Small restaurant where you eat very well. You have to think about booking. The restaurant itself is rather traditional and has remained in its original style. You don't go there to appreciate the decoration, but for the quality of the dishes, which is excellent. I highly recommend. As a fan of octopus, I advise you to enjoy it in the oven or grilled, it's a real killer. The price-performance ratio is also very good.

We live in Sampaio de Antas, we have eaten in this restaurant on multiple occasions, the value for money has always been excellent except yesterday when the waiter really made fun of us. We wanted to have garlic cockles they gave us. served live cockles without even asking our opinion knowing that it is worth twice as much and that it was not at all our choice. We then took prawns with garlic. We asked the waiter the difference between 1 pax (dose) and 2 (doses) pax before knowing if one dose was enough for two. He confirmed to us that it was very well served. and therefore one dose was enough. At the end we paid for two doses, they explained to us that for him one dose was doses, in short we were fooled, they took them for tourists... Sangria for €20 I think is making fun of people and the house wine which is usually so good they served us an undrinkable Vino Verde without even asking what wine we wanted. These people are crooks, as we were on August 10 with a maximum of tourists they took advantage of it I repeat it has been several years since we came to this restaurant it was the last time.

Very disappointed waited more than 1 hour to be served while people who arrived later were served more quickly they bring us olives, a basket of bread and surimi pâté that we didn't order and in the end they charge us €6.50 for the bouquet! In total for 2 people, taking a bottle of wine for €10 and 2 dishes, we end up with €55 while we have visited other restaurants with better dishes for less money. I do not recommend!!

Schlechter Service. Wir haben eine halbe Stunde gewartet um ein Getränk zu bestellen, obwohl das Lokal nicht voll war. Auch einem Augenkontakt sind die Servicemitarbeiter ausgewichen. Man wollte uns dort wohl nicht haben. Leute die nach uns kamen wurden vor uns bedient und hatten ihr Essen schon bevor wir überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgegeben haben. Wir sind danach in ein anders Restaurant gegangen.

Stopped in on a pilgrimage and just wanted to drink some water. Then we worked up an appetite and ordered a portion of grilled squid for the two of us. It took a little longer, but we Germans want everything… faster. It was wonderful to take your time while eating and waiting.
Phenomenal quality of food, incredible friendliness of staff, very affordable prices! In other words, all the best! I recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Good Grilled Octopus. I recommend. However, it took around 45 minutes between ordering and the dish arriving at the table. Furthermore, the drink took even longer, as we had to ask for it again. The bathrooms need investment, as the toilets are from the last century, have questionable maintenance, and are low maintenance.
