Food was almost acceptable and for those who like large portions, this might be the place to eat. I shall not return. We had tuna salad and a chicken dish. Did not finish either because of the size of the portions and felt it sitting unpleasantly in the stomach.

Small "locals" bar, cafe and restaurant good food friendly and helpful staff. We discovered this on our first afternoon and went nearly everyday for either drinks, coffee or meal. Seafood meals all very good. Very reasonably priced well worth a visit.

Exceptional food and fantastic service and atmosphere. Last weeek we visited this small restaurant almost every day and can recommend it to all the seefood lovers. It was just delicious. Greetings to two lovely waiteress, who always were very nice and helpful :)

We searched an area in Funchal that are not too touristy. We found this restaurant. To get there is a very challenging drive. Steep road. But once there, the food were fantastic, the staff are very friendly and nearby the restaurant is a natural swimming pool that during the day time there are a lot of people swim there.
Everything is fine in this restaurant. Unfortunately, they serve only garlic fries, no boiled potatoes. But everything is fresh and tastes great. Portion size is big and very reasonable prices. Lots of local people eat here as well. Do not miss this place when you stay in Canico.

It’s tucked away and looks very simple. Right by the beach. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food is really good and on of the best meals we had during our stay. Was a lovely end to our holiday. The garlic bread is really Good, we had to have 2 portions! Very reasonably priced, can’t go wrong!
