The Quebra Mar restaurant in Pedrógão offered me a complete gastronomic experience. There was a good display of fresh fish, with seafood standing out. I was pleased with the quality of the fish and how it was prepared and the service was very good and welcoming. On the day I visited the restaurant there was live music which made for very pleasant moments. Also worth mentioning is the wonderful view of the sea.

The fish soup was lukewarm and didn't taste good. We paid €5 for 4 Sardinia starters. When we chose Sardinia as our main course, we were allowed to pay €15 for 6 Sardinias. Nothing additional was served. The manager said these were the “house rules”. Not recommended.

The location, the food and the attention have been incredible. I know that this year the owners have changed and I am writing this review to update it, because the site deserves a 10 in every way.
Restaurant well located, right in front of the beach, friendly staff and good presentation in general

A real shame! Waiting times of 1 hour to serve dishes. It is an abuse of power because there are only 3 restaurants on the beach. There can be 200 people in a shift and they don't have capacity for even half of that.

It is unfortunate that after more than 1 hour they did not bring 5 sardines. This is SELFISHNESS and GREED of the owner: if you can't take more people, say no, but don't play with the client.
Good food, very poor service. The waiters don't know how to clarify what dishes they have, take-away dishes are placed in front of a table's order.

Greed breaks the bag. Customers packed into a terrace like canned sardines waiting for the dishes for more than 1 hour! The owner of this restaurant not only does not respect his customers but also his employees who have to endure the stress of accepting many more customers than they have capacity. Restaurants like this destroy the image of the town

We love having lunch by the sea! Impeccable service. I recommend! If you like sangria, try the homemade passion fruit one… delicious!!

Good food, varied fish, however it took a while and the service was not 5 stars. The waiters were only focused on the tables assigned to them, not helping other customers.

The food is good, but the waiting time after arriving at the place at 8:15 pm with a lot of people leaving and many others being served, was exaggerated. It's 10:13 pm and we still haven't been served a bitoque and 2 burgers and the restaurant is practically empty. Incomprehensible. I advise you to come to this restaurant, but come with time?

Very bad experience, but I assume you were "unlucky". Waiting for about an hour for a table (we were informed and decided to wait) after sitting down the fish took over an hour to be served and the side dish only arrived over 15 minutes later, we had to ask 3 times...

Stew, unfortunately the ray had the taste and smell of ammonia, we didn't eat it, we complained to the boss and told us that everything was fresh, it was a shame the restaurant is well situated and pleasant, stew to avoid....
