Location is amazing with views to the lake and beyond the hills. Food was OK. Quite expensive for what it was. Missed opportunity.

I've already described nothing to point out, the decoration is beautiful, very tasteful. Speaking of the food, it is excellent and the service provided is the best. Warm atmosphere throughout the Pousada.

The food is actually quite good, but the decor could use a makeover. We ate 2 dinners there and liked them a lot. With some new paint, new chairs, and new wall decor this could pass as a high end dining experience.
Excellent service, food and view.

Definitely the atmosphere of the place. Views spectacular. Very nice and friendly lady at the reception and that's it. I don't want to complain about the service. Because I didn't see too many people at work. There was only the Lord who did everything. With such hotel and restaurant standards it is unacceptable. Food …. Caesar salad - probably only the name is common. Mix of lettuce and arugula on the leaves. Drama. Verde soup - only 2 pieces of regional sausage in this soup. They probably haven't heard about spices. Bland. Main course. Baked chicken - half a quail, not a chicken. Veal - a tough and stringy piece of meat. Spinach - inedible grass. Just the stems. And dessert - the quintessence of the restaurant - a glass vase and tubes for decoration. I understand that fruit is very expensive. In my opinion, it's a shame for the Chef. Unfortunately, the entire facility left a bad taste. I'll give it one star for the beautiful views.

A pleasant space, with an excellent dining room, with a magnificent view over Rio Caldo and the Gerês hillside and a service to match. On sunny days, the terrace is a space worth considering for a coffee, a gin...

Lovely staff and great setting but overpriced average food. Some portions quite small. Charged 4 euros for a small bread roll we didn’t ask for seems cheeky.

Lots of quality at a fair price. A lot of sympathy in a familiar and welcoming environment.

It is quite a mixed review but in the end the food makes or breaks it. In this case, unfortunately, it is more breaking. The view is amazing, there is no doubt about it, as others have written before. The service was friendly but it took around an hour to get our main dishes. We had a rotisserie-style chicken and a Cesar's salad. Not dishes that should take that long. Before that we had the couvert, I had the soup and in the end we shared a cake. The couvert was disappointing, the soup blend, most of my chicken dry, the salad was fine and the cake was actually good.On top of that we had a bottle of water and a soft drink each and paid 65€ all together. It is not cheap but also not crazy expensive. However, considering the quality and taste of the dishes, it was not worth it. You can go here and get a drink and enjoy the view for cheaper and eat dinner somewhere else.

The menu is not very extensive, but all the food was of immense quality and served in generous portions. The view is absolutely extraordinary.
