We liked it, we came back and validated the experience for the second time. The various fish were very fresh and delicious. Good ingredients were cooked in a simple and authentic way. The service is friendly and familiar. One of the rooms was a little hot.

Simple but beautiful and clean restaurant, but it is a little hot and stuffy as there are no windows for ventilation.
But the service was very slow, for which they apologized, but it still took more than an hour for the food to arrive.
There were three of us and we arrived around 8:30 pm and the restaurant was about 1/4 full.
The carne Vinha d'alhos sandwich was €5 and served hot, tasty and tender meat. The accompaniment, a dose of fries for €4.50, was chosen and paid separately.
The swordfish was very fresh and the fillet was generous and well grilled. It was €13.50 just for the fish and all side dishes are always paid separately. We ordered a portion of salad for €4.95 (lettuce, tomato and carrot), large and well seasoned and it tasted good.
The archipelago's typical fish dish: the rockfish didn't shine, unfortunately... it took about 20 minutes longer than the other food and when opening the fish to eat it was raw near the spine and had to be put back on the grill, which it did with It came back dry, less juicy, not complete nor as tasty, I couldn't even eat it at the same time as the family.
Because of this incident, the restaurant took the initiative of not charging for the rockfish (which would have also been 13.50 for the swordfish), which is fair and was a responsible and honorable attitude.
I would like to go back to give myself another chance to impress myself.

I was curious to see a lot of people at the door and I went there for dinner on June 14th. Frozen and dried sardines, 2.10 each, accompaniments paid separately for all dishes. A whole grouper the size of a medium mackerel and dry like sardines, a juice and an imperial 43€ which became 38€ after I got tired of complaining. Honestly it was a disappointment.
