Between 23/28/6/2024 this was the restaurant where I ate my meals during our vacation. Restaurant very well located on the beach, wonderful view, welcoming with a good atmosphere, very friendly staff, kisses, D Sofia Ferreira who welcomed us so well, being the guests of the room that saved the night from the marches?. Very good buffet food. I highly recommend it. Thanks

Located on Porto Santo beach, it was my favorite place for dinner every day. They have buffet and a la carte service. Fast and efficient service. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. I ate limpets with bolo do caco. Swordfish with passion fruit sauce. Fish of the day (bream). Salmon. Brucheta with ham. The desserts are also very tasty. Congratulations to the chef and a big thank you to all the staff who treated me with extreme kindness.

Nice food, friendly staff, just a bit slow - but hey, we were on a holiday jolly - so why worry? The answer to that is that after a lovely afternoon on the beach we did fancy a second serrvice - dessert. Had the lunch time service not been so very slow we would have had their fresh fruit salad (which another party had at lunch time - it looked delightful) but we were cognisant that we'd waited 20 minutes for the bill after our lunch (happy to remain in the shade out of the midday sun) and with only 35 miniutes to our transfer coach departure, we decided not to risk it. Anyway, what we did have was very nice, pizza and a salad to share - and a briulliant location for the beautiful beach, clean and fresh and friendly.

We paid the restaurant a visit to compare it with another hotel restaurant.First of all: there was a buffet, like with normal half board or even all inclusive booking at the Hotel Torre Praia.We only booked the hotel with breakfast.Let's get to breakfast:I've had a worse breakfast in a hotel. What I was missing: a bit of tomatoes and cucumbers. Unfortunately no vegetables for breakfast.And something needs to be changed on the coffee machine. The queues in front were annoying. A hot pot of water instead of two pots of hot milk would help.You sit either inside or outside and in the morning the beach is still empty and the view is great.In the evening you can't see as much of the view and the lighting on the beach section could use warmer light.The staff is courteous.We paid €20 per person for the buffet in the evening. And that's okay. Drink prices were cheap. €2.50 for a glass of wine.The salad selection was good and interesting. Soup of the day delicious. Unfortunately, the steak was more than cooked due to the warming method. But the meat is still delicious.Alternatively there was fish. A vegetable side dish, potatoes and rice. I was missing a sauce.For dessert, fruit and three cakes to choose from.We have already stayed in another hotel on the island. We definitely enjoyed the food at Torre Praia better.I still can't give a recommendation for the restaurant. We are happy to have had breakfast and to eat in the many other restaurants on the island in the evening.

The beer was cheap but the food was just about the average. We ordered the beef steak well done, what we got instead was medium. The sandwiches were ok, but nothing special. The staff was kind and the service was satisfactory. The restaurant was clean and the seaview may compensate for any downsides.
