Typical restaurant on the beach. Quick and correct attention. Dishes and portions, good quantity and reasonable price. To repeat.

Mr Fernando welcomed us very well.
We felt very comfortable in our tavern facing the sea.
He suggested Clams and octopus rice.
It was divine.
Almeijoeiras only with olive oil and salt, served with fresh bread! Very good!

An excellent point of passage and refreshment. You can still feel the atmosphere, atmosphere and friendliness of humble places and people.

To be avoided. Two people, 45 minutes of waiting, we were not served. We left. We noticed that others did the same. The employees didn't know how to work, they took orders to the wrong tables, customers were desperate at the tables without anyone serving them. A complete disgrace.

I only allow myself to be defrauded once.I paid €5 for a mug of beer (0.50 cl). Which means it costs €10/liter!!! Fónix, beer worth its weight in gold, not even in a 5* hotel should I pay that, plus I had to go to the counter to order it and bring it to the table and in terms of cleanliness and presentation it leaves a lot to be desired. Just because it is in front of the sea, people want to explore (not to say another word)!!

We cannot say anything about the food since we did not get to eat, the reception was not good, we asked for a table and we did not understand what he told us, they ignored us for a while, in the end we got tired and left. Not at all friendly.

We walked in, no one paid attention to us even though the restaurant was only half full. There were plenty of uncleaned tables inside, so after a few moments we asked the waitress if we could sit somewhere. She told us to take any of the empty, dirty tables. So we sat down to wait another 20 minutes. I finally got up and looked for someone from the service, because we wanted to see the menu. A not entirely pleased gentleman, I presume the owner, approached us and started clearing the table, scolding us that we should not have sat at an uncleaned table! When we said it was his friend who asked us for it, he started complaining about her.The rest of the meal was like something out of a movie: fighting for manu that no one brought us, fighting for appetizers that were disappearing from the fridge (we had one appetizer, unfortunately no one came to collect our order, and in the meantime it had disappeared... ), a waitress who forgot that we ordered a main course... And other dissatisfied customers who were also starting to get impatient and exchange comments between tables.I will add that in the meantime 2 families left the restaurant: one who sat down at a table and got a menu, but no one took the order from them, left after about 25 minutes of waiting, the other was never seated despite empty tables, so she also left.If we count that our meal cost us 25 euros per person, then the owner lost 25 euros x 10 people who left the restaurant without eating, a minimum of 250 euros in total. Wouldn't it be cheaper to hire an additional employee or train a waiter?Greetings to the lady from the kitchen, who - poor thing! - every time she brought out a dish, she had to take into account the questions and complaints of impatient customers. We walked in here at 2pm and got our main course at 4pm. It wasn't bad, but let's face it, rather not worth such an expectation.

You have to fight for your right to eat here! Literally. We arrived at the end of the lunch hour, when several tables were already empty. We chose to sit inside and sat by an empty table. It took 10 minutes for a waiter to clean the table. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to bring the menu, and since nobody brought it, my wife stole one menu was lying on another empty table. We waited for someone to come take our order. No one came. There were two waiters running from the kitchen to the terrace. Another one just at the bar, endlessly typing at the registry. We saw another table yelling to the kitchen, because no one brought the food they had ordered one hour ago. We yelled at a waitress that my wife was pregnant and almost collapsing, and she took our order out of pity. We ordered wine, water, three starters and the main dish. The water and a starter came immediately. We saw another family of 6 persons waiting for someone to lead them to one of the many empty tables, but gave up and left after 15 minutes of being ignored by everyone. Nothing else arrived at our table. We finished the starter, the bread, and our kid started crying of hunger. We started yelling to a woman who came out of the kitchen. She said she worked at the kitchen and all the table waiters were incompetent. But she ended up telling us the other starters we had ordered had finished, and brought us more bread and a second supply of the same starter (that we had to pay, of course). She also told us that the guy behind the counter disagreed of the wine we requested. He came to our table and chatted a bit, suggesting another (weaker wine) and blaming the delay in the first waitress. We saw 8 people in another table leaving in despair, after waiting for someone to take their order, taking a small kid also crying of hunger. After two literal hours, we finally received the food. The food was good, the staff was friendly, but, dear lord, this was some next-level incompetence and disorganization. At one point we started wondering if this was some Candid Camera setup!

(Translated by Google) beautiful view (the terrace is directly facing the sea), we had octopus with rice which is served in a large dish for 2 to 29€. Result: very little octopus, but a lot of rice! the kilo of rice is expensive in Portugal…????The bill is salty, because 55 € for two is expensive!
