This place is a bit hard to find if you aren’t looking for it. A local told us about it and actually made the reservation for us. It was a 6 course meal they call “moments”, all chefs choice. At the beginning we were asked if there were any allergies or restrictions. Oranges are the only thing on that list. This is elegant service with each fork and knife being removed after each course. There was a real fireplace burning. The waiter explained each dish in perfect English. The restaurant is part of a small family farm and vegetables and fruit are from that farm. We had delicious dishes of vegetables, meat, and fish. Dessert was light and refreshing and we left very full. Everything was beautiful and prepared well. Please go here!

Such a unique experience! The food pairings- we did it with the wine pairing- were excellent and our party of four enjoyed it all. While the place wasn't filled, the waiters did seem to be running around to serve each party.

Wonderful atmosphere, absolutely excellent food. Attentive and helful staff who explained what each course was and how it was sourced and cooked (when relevant). The eating experience was enriched because of this. Each of the 6 courses were unique and had great flavours, presentation and attention to detail. The restraunt is quaint and authentic. A real hidden gem. Only 9 tables and some of them are only for 2 people so it is a good idea to book.

As the website says, farm to table BnB. The food was fresh n tasty. We did the “charm” pairing, which was the upper tasting and it was worth it. We also toured the grounds where everything was planted n grown. Def self sustained. Reservations and cab ride needed.

We came here for dinner as a large group, as we are all traveling together (13 people!) And everyone at the restaurant was so kind and accommodating to our size and various dietary needs. I was the lone vegan in our group, but I always had a special course prepared for me that complimented what my friends were eating and what we were drinking. Everything was so delicious and fresh--we all thought the last thing we ate was the best, until the next dish came out! The location is also spectacular, and we enjoyed being to walk around the farm while drinking wine before dinner and seeing where our food was being grown. I would definitely recommend this as a place to visit and eat--you'll leave so satisfied!

Lovely, delicious farm dinner and wine pairing. Go early to walk the farm or you can take a break between courses and do it. Highly recommend!!!

What a very special restaurant located on a family farm this restaurant is. They serve a one seating , fresh farm to table, no menu, six course dinner with wine pairings if you so desire. Each course is fabulous and offers farm fresh starters,soup,an entree first of fish and fresh vegetables,then a second entree of beef and a wonderful dessert. The family all work together and are warm and gracious hosts. I can highly recommend this unique culinary experience!

The restaurant is within the nice settings of farm-like grounds. The wine, food and service are actually quite good. However, it is definitely over-priced for the offering.

The causal, comfortable venue includes the warmth of family business, lush gardens which they encourage you to explore, amazing food loaded with creativity, flavor and reflecting the labor of love of the staff. The price point is amazing for the experience. One of our best meals in our 10 day visit to Sao Miguel & Lisbon.

Someone at our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and so glad they did. It is in a farmhouse and you can look around the gardens at all the veg and herbs growing. You get a 6 course meal, there is no menu but all allergies and dietary requirements are catered for. We sat outside as it was a lovely evening but there is inside seating too. The staff were very friendly and explained every course to you. There is a good wine list too. You definitely need to book as it is so popular. Highly recommended.
