Unfortunately, 1 star has to confirm: after 3 hours of surfing ?♂️ we 2 families wanted to drink a lot, shrimp ?, squid ? and fries. BUT, super unfriendly staff, no option for extra fries ? for hungry kids (4). Inflexible, they almost kicked us out of the restaurant even though we were the only ones there. Such a beautiful place, such a shame, almost outrageous... Instead of big sales we left, wanted to explain to the staff but they didn't care at all ? We'll never come back, we'll go somewhere nice, fine & hospitable

Located on a stunning beach, this cafe has incredible potential. However, our visit was disappointing. We ordered only drinks and ice lollies, but the staff seemed unhappy with our choice, and the service was notably unfriendly, making us feel uncomfortable. Good customer service is crucial, especially in such a beautiful spot. With better service, this cafe could become a must-visit destination. Hopefully, the owners will realise the impact of warm hospitality on their success.

The place is a dream, you could enjoy a dinner with a fantastic sunset if it weren't for how extremely unfriendly all the waiters are. The food is really mediocre.

Since I have a gluten intolerance and am a bit cautious about salads on vacation, I politely asked for a portion of fries. The gentleman behind the counter pointed to a bag of chips. I repeated myself again and said that I would like a portion of fries, to which the answer came that there were no extra fries.This restaurant offers fries with some dishes, but it's unclear why not extra!I was extremely disappointed as the staff were 0 responsive to customers' needs and left us hungry.
We only wanted a portion of fries because we didn't want to eat much for lunch, to which we were told that fries are not available individually but only in combination with other dishes, which makes no sense in my opinion.Apart from the prices, which are far too high, you can't recommend this restaurant but the nearby "Castelejo" restaurant, which has really fair prices, good service and also offers fries individually.

Absolutely avoid!Rudeness reigns supreme in this bar/restaurant. I asked if I could take something to take away but the waiter very rudely told me that they didn't do take away (it was written on the menu that they did). When I go to go to the bathroom the elderly gentleman replied that I couldn't stay inside the restaurant. I wanted to get something to eat but luckily in the end I gave up immediately. I really don't understand the rudeness of those who work there. Bah

I've known Bar da Praia for a few years now. Whenever I walk around these parts, I try to come here. Recent works have greatly improved the restaurant area. The food is good and in quantity. Prices are in line with what is practiced in this type of restaurants. My only regret is that there is no electronic vestment, which is somewhat understandable, since there is no mobile network and the fixed network is unreliable. But what pleases me most, in addition to what I already said, is the friendliness and politeness of the entire staff.
