“A pleasant surprise, six of us went to dinner and we had a wonderful dinner. Both the dishes and the desserts are made with good products and exquisitely prepared.
The staff is very friendly and polite, and the place is very nice and cozy.

“We loved the place. We ordered fried brunette, a pork stew and grilled squid. Everything was delicious, and the attention of the waitress, I think her name was Paula, was great. Furthermore, I have to highlight how well they behaved, because when paying, the card did not pass and we had to pass it again. Until then, everything was normal, but after a while, when I checked with my bank, the payment had been made twice. We returned and they refunded our money without any problem. We kept the phones in case something happened and two days later the owner called me telling me that he had only charged it once. I had double charges in my bank. After speaking with my bank, I sent them proof that the two payments had been made, and without a problem. Thank you very much for the treatment and patience to the owner of that place. If we return to Vila do Bispo, we will definitely return. We have been delighted with the treatment received.“

Whenever I walk around these parts, I try to come here.
Recent works have greatly improved the restaurant area.
The food is good and in quantity.
Prices are in line with what is practiced in this type of restaurants.

“Large indoor dining room, plus ample parking and also has a terrace but with the air that we got into our bodies visiting the fortress we preferred to eat inside.

We tried the fish soup, the legume cream, garlic prawns and mackerel salad (all very delicious) and to finish we tasted the octopus rice that came with a bunch of cilantro on top that gave too much of its flavor to the food and It spoiled it a bit (the quantity and price were very good, yes).

We took 1 bottle of wine, 2 of water, 4 beiraos and 3 coffees to pay 30 eur x four full stomachs.“

“We had dinner there whilst on holiday. It's a very nice family run restaurant. We all loved our food. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked as requested (medium rare) and was one of the best ones I have ever had.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
They produce their own wine, we bought two bottles to take with us.

But when it was time to go up the stairs to eat in the restaurant above, we ran into another couple who came out saying that they had eaten quite well, and the truth is that we did well to listen to them. “Grill restaurant with local and fresh products. Very good quality meats, not to mention the fish and the small market they have right when you enter the restaurant. You ensure fresh fish of the day cooked on the grill. Very attentive and helpful service looking for solutions so that the wait is minimal before sitting down.
The decoration is quite faithful to Portuguese traditions.

From the dishes: starter with grilled chorizo, to eat: delicious frango, the camarao skewer a delight and the meat spectacular. We tried rib eye with pepper sauce, spectacular. Perhaps it could have been accompanied on the plate but to put something to improve.
And we chose red wine from Alentejo, with a pretty good quality-price ratio.
It's not the first time we came but it won't be the last either!“

“Arrived by chance without a reservation, but was warmly welcomed and looked after. Very friendly and courteous service, almost family-like. Nice atmosphere, very good food. We have rarely had such good fish (sea bream) and steak (ribeye), especially not for the price. A visit is highly recommended, we would be happy to come back.

“I was from Caba de Saovicente and had lunch here. All serves of foods are great especially the dessert. I’m so in love with it, the almond ice cream. The service is great soft and gentle. Also the view of the restaurant is panoramic of the Atlantic ocean. Apart from a salty food all here are great! I would recommend this place for all travelers.“

“We were very satisfied - we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and when a larger table became available after we ordered, it was immediately offered to us and cleaned. The location is great, there is parking right in front of it and the view of the sea and the beach is very, very nice. There are no other buildings in between and you look directly at the sea.
We particularly liked the friendly service and the delicious and fresh juices. We ordered burgers, they came quickly and were delicious. Since they were eaten so quickly, no photos were taken :)
